Mr mark is a very passionate teacher who always goes the extra mile for his students. He is willing to spend time to tutor weaker students and is always patient. His explanations are always short and effective. It is easy to understand and will help students grasp concepts easily. He is also a hardworking teacher who helps students outside of tuition by allowing students to send him questions so that he can help them.
All these have definitely contributed to my A1 and A2 for my E Maths and A Maths respectively.

“I first started A.Math tuition in Sec 3 at Whiz-Ed after I failed my CA1 A. Math Test. I did not plan to have any tuitions for Secondary 3 and 4 previously as I thought I would be able to cope with my studies even without tuition but that is not the case for me. The content that I learnt in Sec 3 was so much tougher than that in lower secondary.After attending lessons with Mr Mark at Whiz-Ed, I improved a lot compared to the start. I finally managed to score As for both of my Maths in ‘O’ level. Mr Mark was very patient with me even though I am not a quick learner. I do not have good memory and I tend to forget the previous topics I learnt whenever I begin a new chapter. His style of teaching is really effective for me as everything he taught was already summarised nicely. For every chapter, he would give a worksheet that consist of all the different types of questions that might possibly be tested for that particular chapter, so remembering all those will definitely be sufficient even for major exams like ‘O’ level. I often ask him many questions and he would explain the solution to me clearly. Thanks to him, my grades for math improved drastically from F to A. These grades would not be possible for me without him.”

“School usually does not get Favian interested come to subjects matter. Moreover, the “must-know” information seems scattered everywhere that he did not know where to get himself started. This further killed his interest in learning and self-esteem. Whiz-Ed definitely has a positive impact on my son’s learning. The classes are interesting and the teachers are patient to answer their questions and to get them familiarise with the exam structures and techniques, especially for Science. The summary sheet taught during the Science class is one that cannot do without. It compresses all the “must-have” knowledge that makes learning so much easier for Favian. He has made significant improvement in his results and he is within the top 10% of their level and course. Favian is now more mature and responsible. He is more confident and definitely more interested in his studies compared to the past. He is now aiming to achieve even better in the upcoming exams. ”
